Provided application support to the CRM(Customer Relation Management) system of a Finnish telecom company.Developed perl and shell scripts to automate standard tasks. Designed reusable SQL scripts to extract monthly reports for business. Monitored and maintained critical production databases.
Developed a telecom self-care portal. The portal registers a new user and caters to registered user's needs like online recharge, view recharge plans, (postpaid or prepaid), view bill history etc
Developed a web applicatio in Django. This application enables registered users to save bookmarks and offers a platform to share their bookmarks with other users based on similar interests.

Proposed and implemented a new algorithm in CloudSim(a simulation environment)to distribute load among various virtual machines. Devised a formula to calculate the time for which a VM is busy processing the requests. Using this formula, VMs were heap sorted and allocated the rquests. Then drew a comparitive analysis between round robin algorithm and the proposed algorithm.

Designed and developed a web portal with two interfaces - employer and employee mode. Recruiter can posts jobs and the registered uers will get notified about the jobs matching skills mentioned in their profiles.
